India’s star Virat Kohli was felicitated by the Delhi and District Cricket Association on January 31, at the end of Day 2 of the Delhi vs Railways Ranji Trophy 2025 at Arun Jaitley Stadium. He was recongnited for achiveming a landmark of 100 Tests in Interntional Cricket.
Notably, Kohli completed 100 Test in 2022 against Sri Lanka in Mohali, joining the elite group of only the 11th Indian cricketer to reach this milestone.

DDCA president Rohan Jaitley honored him with a shawl and a memento. Arun Jaitley Stadium was packed with fans who came to watch Kohli. During the ceremony, Kohli’s former coach Rajkumar Sharma was also present.
He had played a Test at his home ground during the 2023 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, but at that time, there had been no felicitation.
Virat Kohli played Ranji Trophy after 13 years
Kohli’s first Ranji Trophy innings in 13 years lasted just 15 balls, further highlighting his ongoing struggle and adding fuel to the ongoing debate about his form. The 5000-strong crowd that had gathered to see Kohli was entertained for a brief moment, but when Railways pacer Himanshu Sangwan bowled him out in the 28th over of Delhi’s first innings, many spectators left.
