The man has done it again! The Perth crowd witnessed their ‘favourite’ Virat Kohli smash it out of the park as he pummeled a tremendous century to pile more misery over Australia in the first BGT Test. Kohli, on the back of a horrible form, hammered his first hundred of the year (across all formats) and forced everyone to stand up on their feet. Among the stands was his wife, who obviously cheered for her husband, who showed a tremendous gesture by blowing a flying kiss to her.
Watch: Virat Kohli blows a kiss to Anushka Sharma
“Anushka has been right by my side in the thick and thin. She knows what goes on. I just wanted to contribute to the team’s cause, I am not someone who hangs around for the sake of it.,” Virat Kohli said after his innings. Kohli reached a remarkable milestone by scoring his 30th Test century, and his emotions were clearly visible. He celebrated with his signature style – raising his arms skyward in gratitude, beaming with joy, and sending loving gestures to his wife Anushka Sharma who was watching from the stands. In a significant team decision, India then declared their innings, challenging Australia with a massive target of 534 runs to win the match.
