Axar Patel 5 wickets away from 150 International Scalps

Having been benched in the first Test match against the Caribbean opponents, Axar Patel is eager to start the 2nd Test match at the Queen’s Park Oval. Should Axar be able to slot his place in the starting XI he will reach a big personal milestone.

The trusted all-rounder has 145 wickets under his belt for India across all three formats of the game and is just 5 wickets short of the 150 scalp mark. Given how spin came to India’s aid in the first match with Ravi Ashwin bagging 12 wickets in the game, Axar can easily reach his personal accolade should he get the chance.
