Team India’s star cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife and Bollywood actress, Anushka Sharma received a formal invitation to attend the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Temple on January 22 in Ayodhya.
The former India captain is the third cricketer to receive the invitation. According to few reports, Kohli traveled directly to Mumbai after the IND vs AFG 2nd T20I match to receive the invitation himself and departed for Bangalore on Tuesday for the third and final T20I.

Earlier, cricketers MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar also received an invite to the attend the Ram ttemple ceremony in Ayodhya.
The auspicious event will be held on January 22, and will be attended by several celebrities and politicians. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at the grand event.
