Bangladeshi pacer Mustafizur Rahnman wrecked havoc with a fast four-fer, causing RCB's batting collapse

Chennai Super Kings started their title defence in style as they claimed a stellar 6-wicket win in the CSK vs RCB IPL 2024 Opener. Fans took to Twitter to express their happiness as newly appointed Ruturaj Gaikwar and co. handed Royal Challengers Bengaluru their 8th loss at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Gaikwad and opening partner Rachin Ravindra launched a strong chase against RCB’s 174. Gaikwad fell to Yash Dayal for 15, but Ravindra and Rahane continued the assault. CSK scored 62 in the powerplay, losing one wicket.

Ravindra hit 37 off 15 before being dismissed, while Rahane made 27 off 19. Shivam Dube replaced Mustafizur Rahman as CSK’s Impact Player. Mustafizur had earlier rocked RCB with 4 wickets, but RCB’s Karthik and Rawat fought back with a 95-run partnership.
