With India losing the Border Gavaskar Trophy, the calls for mandating the players to play the Ranji Trophy have grown louder. But Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are now once again at the centre of the storm. Rohit Sharma failed miserably in the India vs Australia series, averaging a shambolic 6.20 in five innings. Virat Kohli scored a century in Perth but hardly made any impact in the next eight innings.
