Vidarbha batting woes:

The MP pacers were relentless, taking nine of the ten wickets, with left-arm spinner Kumar Karthikeya taking the final scalp.

Needing to avoid losing early wickets, Madhya Pradesh began their innings cautiously. They lost their opener Yash Dubey early, but wicketkeeper Himanshu Mantri (26*) and Harsh Gawli (10*) ensured they reached stumps without further damage.

Madhya Pradesh will be looking to press their advantage and build a significant lead on the second day.
