Australian batter Usman Khawaja on Tuesday announced a partnership with ‘Electric Wicky’ to launch his own T-shirt brand. The clothing line is being called ‘freedom and equality’ T-shirts, in line with Khawaja’s recent plight against ICC. Moreover, Khawaja announced that all profits from the T-shirt sales will be donated to the ‘Unicef Children of Gaza’.

Khawaja was in the middle of a huge controversy before the start of the PAK vs AUS Test series. Khawaja’s proposal of wearing a message on his shoe for the conflict in Gaza was rejected by ICC. Khawaja in response wore a black armband, leading to ICC reprimanding him.
A lot of former cricketers as well as Khawaja’s teammates spoke up for him, slamming ICC for their ‘selective behaviour’.
However, Khawaja has not stopped his support for Gaza only with symbolic gestures. The Aussie batter took to social media to announce his T-shirt line.
“I’ve team up with @electric_wicky to bring you the Uzzy “Freedom and Equality” T shirts. All profits will be donated to the ‘Unicef Children of Gaza’ appeal. For those who can, please purchase to help support those who are struggling and spread the word!” Khawaja wrote on X (previously Twitter).
