Pakistan batter Usman Khan achieved a unique milestone as he set the record for the fastest double century in the country’s List A cricket history. His milestone came in the President’s Cup game for Ehsaal Associates against SNGPL. Usman Khan took 131 runs to cross the double-century mark.
Pakistan’s Usman Khan sets new national record
Usman Khan retired on the very next delivery after he set the new record. The previous record for the fastest 200 was held by Sharjeel Khan who took 133 deliveries to reach the milestone. In 10 List A matches that Usman had played so far, he has amassed 652 runs at an average of 81.5.
Usman is now the 7th Pakistani cricketer to achieve a double century in List A cricket, joining a list that includes Fakhar Zaman, Abid Ali, Mohammad Ali, Sharjeel Khan, Kamran Akmal, and Khalid Latif.
