USA star batter Aaron Jones ‘unafraid’ of star studded Team India ahead of T20 World Cup clash

USA star Aaron Jones set for IPL 2025 audition through CPL 2025 after the St. Lucia Kings switch
The stage is set for two teams who are on a winning chariot, but unfortunately, one has to step down. Ahead of the clash, it seems like the USA vice-captain has a certain warning for the Indian team.

USA cricket team vice-captain and star batter Aaron Jones has given a subtle reminder to the Indian team, as not to take them lightly ahead of the T20 World Cup clash. Aaron James said in a press conference, “I think we’re going to treat it like a normal game. We know India is a good team, but we’ve beaten good teams before. We don’t want to play on names or teams or anything like that. We’ve beaten good teams in the past. So definitely going to go hard tomorrow against India”. After two impressive wins, first over Canada and then against the cornered Tigers, Pakistan, the USA team is high on spirits and doing a commendable job to date.

R Ashwin couldn’t stop himself from praising Jones

Aaron Jones himself is going through a golden patch with the bat. The star batter recently played a 94* innings in 40 balls during a group stage match of the T20 World Cup against Canada, and he was also one of the reasons for USA’s win over Pakistan. After this press conference, veteran Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is in awe of USA’s Aaron Jones, and he appreciated Jones’ mindset. X Ashwin took to his X account and heaped praises on Jones’s comments in the pre-match press conference. “A sportsman’s hunger to compete and be the best brings out this attitude, and that is something we must admire” Ashwin said.
