With India dominating the first Test against Bangladesh and playing like favorites, they won the game against the Bengal Tigers by 280 runs. Now, to maintain this ‘mission domination’, the team will go to Kanpur for the second Test, and all of this hard work is being done for the WTC final. From Bangladesh’s point of view, the team, which came with the confidence of beating Pakistan 2-0, saw a watershed moment. The heroes in Pakistan, now here from Litton Das to Shakib Al Hasan struggled, and due to this, Bangladesh, which jumped to fourth after triumphing over Pakistan, has slipped to sixth. See the updated WTC points table and check what we can anticipate.

Can Bangladesh still qualify for the WTC final?
Now, things are getting tougher for Bangladesh. When they were in 4th place, there were positive chances for them to get into the top 2 of the WTC, but now they are not only docked points due to a slow over rate but have also slipped to 6th place, putting them in a miserable position. For India, they are where they were last time, at the top, and things look smooth for them. It will be interesting to see how the New Zealand series and then in Australia how Border-Gavaskar Trophy go.
