It’s all done as Punjab Kings came out on top, and once again Chennai Super Kings failed to chase the target in IPL 2025. PBKS had set a target of 220 runs, and despite quality innings from Rachin Ravindra and Devon Conway, the chase didn’t produce any magic. Even MS Dhoni, who came in to bat quite early, failed to make a big impact once again.
Speaking about Punjab Kings, Priyansh Arya smashed his first-ever IPL century in just 39 balls, which helped PBKS post a commanding total of 219/6 in 20 overs against CSK. Later, they successfully restricted one of the most successful franchises to just 201 runs, sealing the victory convincingly.
