Unsold players who can join IPL 2024 as replacements

As few players have been ruled out of the IPL 2024, here is the list of players who can come in as replacements in IPL.

All 10 teams of the Indian Premier League (IPL) are gearing up with their final squad preparations for the upcoming 17th season. In anticipation of IPL 2024, franchises are diligently seeking ideal replacements for players who will be unavailable. Thus far, five players have been officially ruled out, prompting franchises to announce three replacements. Additionally, teams may opt to acquire unsold players to fill in for those who won’t be available for the tournament.

Sarfaraz Khan

Sarfaraz Khan is in great form, having played some stunning knocks in domestic and the IND vs ENG Test series. Despite going unsold in the IPL 2024 auction, many teams are keen on recruiting him due to his current form.

Mohammad Kaif

Mohammed Shami’s brother, Mohammed Kaif, showcased his talent in the Ranji Trophy 2024. With impressive pace and speed, he has emerged as a promising player. Interestingly, he has replaced his brother in the Gujarat Titans, as Shami is ruled out due to his recovery following surgery.

Kusal Mendis

Kusal Mendis had went unsold in the IPL 2024 Auction. He could make a back entry as a replacement. In recent matches with Bangladesh, Mendis displayed few outstanding knocks.

Musheer Khan

Musheer Khan was the second highest run-getter in the U19 World Cup 2024. Following his stellar performance in the tournament, he maintained his form in the Ranji Trophy while representing Mumbai Indians. Franchises are keen on acquiring his services for IPL 2024.

Ollie Robinson

Ollie Robinson could be a good option as a replacement for IPL players Mohammed Shami and Prasidh Krishna, who have been ruled out. Robinson boasts a record of 45 wickets in 49 T20 matches, making him a potentially valuable addition to any team.
