Uncapped players RCB might target in IPL mega auction

Check out 3 uncapped players RCB might target in IPL 2025 mega auction.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), known for their flair and aggressive approach, will undoubtedly be on the lookout for players who can add dynamism and depth to their lineup. Ahead of the IPL mega auction, RCB retained only three players including Virat Kohli, Yash Dayal and Rajat Patidar. As a result, they have a decent amount left in their purse. Let us check out 3 uncapped players that RCB might target in the upcoming IPL 2025 mega auction.

Uncapped players RCB might target for IPL 2025

Ashutosh Sharma

Ashutosh Sharma has emerged as a name that resonates with potential. His performances in the IPL 2024, where he showcased his ability to anchor innings while also capable of explosive hitting, have caught the eye of many. In the 2025 IPL, RCB will be looking to include Ashutosh in their squad, which will boost their lower middle order in the next edition.

Karn Sharma

It may surprise a few fans to see Karn Sharma’s name on this list, but Karn is technically an uncapped player as per the new rule of IPL. This new rule allows the senior player to qualify as an uncapped player if he has not played an international match in last five years for India and hasn’t been centrally contracted with BCCI either. Karn ticks both boxes. Hence, RCB can pull off a masterstroke by targeting him in the upcoming IPL mega auction.

Mahipal Lomror

Mahipal Lomror might not be as talked about as the others, but his cricketing journey has been one of steady improvement. Initially known for his bowling, Lomror has developed into a handy lower-order batsman, capable of swinging games with both bat and ball. Lomror has already represented RCB in IPL. The Red Army might be willing to bid for the all-rounder in the upcoming IPL mega auction scheduled to be held in November this year.
