The latest sensation in the IPL, Mayank Yadav, has set the tournament ablaze with his fiery pace! The 21-year-old debutant for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has rocketed to the top of the speed charts, becoming the fastest bowler in IPL 2024.
Yadav’s scorching spell against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) saw him unleash a thunderbolt – a delivery clocked at a staggering 155.8 kmph! But that wasn’t all. He consistently troubled the batsmen with a barrage of deliveries exceeding the 150 kmph mark, showcasing his raw pace and potential.

Chasing 200 for win, Punjab openers Dhawan (70) and Bairstow (42) gave their franchise a spectacular start, adding 102 runs in 68 balls. However, Mayank single-handedly changed the course of the match as he rushed the PBKS batters with aplomb.
PBKS couldn’t really recovered from the damage as they fell short by 21 runs.
