Ambati Rayudu: Former India and CSK player Ambati Rayudu is planning to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from either Krishna or Guntur districts of Andhra Pradesh. Earlier, Rayudu had made his intentions clear of entering politics after IPL 2023 season. Now, the former CSK player will join YSRCP. Rayudu, who hails from Guntur had also met Andhra Pradesh CM and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy twice to discuss about the Lok Sabha Elections.
Reddy is keen to field Rayudu from the next polls but is yet to take a decision on whether to field him in the assembly or Lok Sabha Polls. CM Jagan Reddy has been an inspiration to Rayudu, and all other youngsters in entering politics. Jagan is focusing on all aspects instead of focusing on one aspect.
“CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is a big inspiration for youngsters entering politics. He is spearheading development in all the regions instead of concentrating on one area,” said Rayudu. The CSK star also confirmed that he will go by Jagan’s decision.
