1. Harnoor Singh (India): India’s opener Harnoor Singh has been in form of his lifetime. He has smashed three centuries in the last 10 innings besides two fifties. The lanky opener smashed a century against Australia besides scoring 72 and 111 against Bangladesh in the U-19 Asia Cup. He could be India’s Yashasvi Jaiswal with all the attacking prowess he possesses.

2. Qasim Akram (Pakistan): The Pakistan skipper has already an experienced senior all-rounder having played 15 List A matches, 9 first-class matches and 21 T20s. He has averaged 51.33 in List A games while 35.36 in First Class. He is destructive which can be assumed from his 100.87 strike rate in List A and 152.04 strike rate in T20s. With the ball, he is a pro too, scalping 14 FC wickets with the best bowling figures being 5/51. Soon, he will rub shoulders with Babar Azam and Shaheen Afridi as Karachi Kings have picked him up as an emerging player.

3. Cooper Connolly (Australia): An all-rounder and former Australia U-17 captain, Cooper Conolly knows how to lead from the front. In the two warm-up matches, he has scored 64 against West Indies and 117 against India. He has the experience of playing in the BBL with Perth Scorchers and will be aiming to use the platform well while leading Australia to U-19 World Cup title.

4. Dewald Brevis (South Africa): In South Africa, Dewald Brevis is considered the next AB de Villiers — a pretty hefty tag at such a young age. He takes on the bowlers with ease, walks around the crease to put the bowlers off-guard and plays aggressively. The top-order batsman smashed a half-century against West Indies. With the addition of some leg-break bowling, he will one to watch out for.

5. Yash Dhull (India): The captaincy of U-19 team is given to the best player in the squad and Yash Dhull is already being considered one to watch out for in the future. A shade of Virat Kohli with his aggressive captaincy style and the hunger for runs, Dhull can set the stage on fire with some brilliant performances. If he can lead India to their 5th title, the doors to IPL will also open up pretty easily. In the two warm-up matches, the Delhi boys smashed two half-centuries and is all set to replicate that form in the World Cup.
