Trouble in MI! Rohit Sharma’s wife lashes out at Boucher’s comment over IPL captaincy

Rohit Sharma's wife Ritika Sajdeh's latest comment on MI head coach Mark Boucher's interview has ignited the rift rumours in MI dressing room.

Looks like Mumbai Indians is not ‘One Family’ anymore. The rumors of trouble in MI’s dressing room were rife after Hardik Pandya was appointed new skipper for IPL 2024, replacing Rohit Sharma.

While the franchise had refuted all the rumours and claimed that “all is well”, Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajdeh’s latest comment on MI head coach Mark Boucher’s interview depicts a contrasting story.

In a podcast interview with Smash Sports, Mark Boucher revealed reason behind appointing Hardik as captain. Boucher insisted that the decision was taken to give Rohit more freedom as a batter.

Ritika Sajdeh reacted to Boucher’s comment and said: “So many things wrong with this.”

Notably, few reports also claimed that few players were not happy with the sacking of Rohit Sharma as captain. A week after the announcement, Jasprit Bumrah had unfollowed MI on social media.

Bumrah had also posted two cryptic stories on his Instagram account few weeks after the announcement. One story said, “Silence is the best answer.” Meanwhile, the other story mentioned, “Sometimes being greedy is good and being loyal isn’t.”

With Ritika’s latest comment, it appears the rumors in fact could be true.
