Trouble for Mohammed Siraj and Travis Head after Adelaide spat, to be charged by ICC – Report

IND vs AUS: For now, there is no danger on Travis Head and Mohammed Siraj, to miss the third Test in Brisbane.

After a verbal spat on the day 2 of the IND vs AUS Adelaide Test, Mohammed Siraj and Travis Head face a potential risk of getting charged by the ICC. The Aussies won the match comfortably, by 10 wickets, and Head’s 141-ball 141 played a huge role in the victory that bought the series at 1-1.

The unpleasant incident had happened when Mohammed Siraj got rid of Travis Head in the third session on Saturday. The bowler gave a send off to the Aussie batter, and the latter responded with a few unpleasant words. What made the matters worse is, Head lied about what he said, in a press conference, and Siraj was quick to point that out on air.

Now, as per a report in The Daily Telegraph, both the parties involved with go through a hearing with the ICC. But as understood, the duo won’t invited any ban for the same. Having said that, on the third day of the IND vs AUS Test, while Siraj was batting, both of them could be seen having a small chat — but it is not clear what was discussed between the two.

Eventually, after Australia beat India, Siraj and Head did hug each other, to bury the hatchet. Now, the third Test of the series begins in Brisbane on December 14, and there is a lot to ponder for Team India. One of the biggest concerns going into the match would be, skipper Rohit Sharma’s form. Also, the management would have to decide for a correct batting position for him.
