Out of the ground

David’s plan

Tim David also played a crucial innings of 45 runs. He came in to bat at a time MI were struggling for momentum but did well to pace his innings well. He said, “I felt like we were working very hard to try and get some momentum, Hardik and myself. It was a crucial stage there. Luckily I got a couple off the middle of the bat and once you get some of those, you start feeling a bit better. We picked up the momentum and handed over to the big guy to finish things off.
