From ramp walk to ashram visit, how Team India is enjoying amidst World Cup

The team management planned a ramp show for the players and support personnel at the team hotel.

During their Cricket World Cup schedule, the Indian team recently took a well-earned holiday and enjoyed some enjoyable activities in the charming town of Dharamsala. To keep the players’ spirits up during the intense competition, the team management organized a range of light-hearted diversions.

The support staff had a great time trekking in the neighboring mountains as one of the team-building exercises.

In a video released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), head coach Rahul Dravid, batting coach Vikram Rathore, and bowling coach Paras Mhambrey were shown fully embracing the difficult trek and immersing themselves in nature.

Although it was thought to be too dangerous for the players at the time, Dravid stated that he hoped they will have the opportunity to go on this amazing adventure in the future.

Virat Kohli, chose to visit an ashram in order to have a fresh experience amidst the Cricket World Cup.

The team management planned a ramp show for the players and support personnel at the team hotel in addition to these individual activities. Every team member was required to walk on the ramp as they were in a fashion show.

The Indian team concluded their evening with a wonderful bonding session, which further strengthened the camaraderie within the squad, even if it is still unknown who judged the show and who won.

Cricket World Cup: India’s next challenge

The players made the most of their time off, even though the team administration forbade them from participating in risky activities like treking or paragliding in Dharamsala. Some went out for a quick lunch with their spouses, while the others stayed back to rest and recuperate in the luxury of their hotel.

The Indian team’s renewed energy and enthusiasm will undoubtedly help them in their pursuit of win as they get ready to play England in their upcoming game at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium.
