In a tragic news, the makeup artist of Irfan Pathan, Fayaz Ansari got drowned in a swimming pool in the West Indies. The 22-year-old accompanied Irfan Pathan who is a part of the commentary team for the ongoing T20 World Cup. It was informed from the West Indies that on Friday evening, June 21, Ansari drowned in a hotel swimming pool while bathing. This news has left his family devastated.

Hailing from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, Fayaz Ansari moved to Mumbai and started his own salon. During this time, Irfan Pathan visited his outlet for makeup. The former Indian all-rounder then made Ansari his personal makeup artist, taking him along on international trips.

Irfan Pathan to send Ansari’s body back home

As per Ansari’s cousin, the deceased got married just two months ago and had gone to Mumbai from Bijnor only eight days prior. The sudden accident had plunged the family into grief, with his wife and relatives inconsolable.

Ansari’s cousin also mentioned that Irfan Pathan is taking care of all formalities in the Island nation to send Ansari’s body back to India. The family plans to receive the body in Delhi, which is expected to take about three to four days.

Meanwhile, Irfan Pathan will be continuing his duties as the commentator and panelist in the ongoing T20 World Cup. He is also expected to commentate in the upcoming India vs Australia T20 World Cup clash to be played on June 24 (Monday).
