Vijay Hazare Trophy

The Vijay Hazare Trophy is a One-Day cricket domestic competition in India which is played annually. The domestic tournament, which is named after the legendary Indian cricketer Vijay Hazare, involves state teams from the Ranji Trophy plates organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). 

The tournament started in the 2002–03 season and is played in a round-robin and knockout format.

The most recent edition of the tournament was held from November 12 to December 2, 2022. Saurashtra won the trophy for the second time by defeating Maharashtra by five wickets in the final. 

The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023-24 will begin on November 23, 2023. The white-ball tournament will see 38 teams divided into five groups. It will be played across six venues –  Mumbai, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, and Rajkot.
