The Irani Cup or also known as IDFC Frist Bank Irani Trophy is the first-class tournament annually played in India between winners of Ranji Trophy season and the Rest of the India (ROI). It is played in Test format and is considered the pinnacle of trophies in India’s first-class cricket. The tournament was first played in India in 1959-60. Since then, it is played every year. Rest of the India have won most trophies of Irani Cup 26 of them. Second on the list is Mumbai, who has won 12 times.
