A year after Ireland made their International debut, Ireland played their first-ever ODI match against India in 2007. Since then both the sides have met on a few occasions in white-ball cricket. India dominated the contests so far completely and Ireland still search for their first victory against the Men in Blue.
Despite Ireland earning the Test status in 2017, both the teams are yet to play a Test match against each other. India lead the head-to-head record 3-0 in ODIs and 7-0 in T20Is.
