Team England has announced their squads for the upcoming white-ball tour of India, which includes three ODIs and five T20Is. On the other hand, the home side has yet to announce the squad for the upcoming fixtures. The tour will begin with the T20Is starting on January 22nd in Kolkata, followed by the ODIs between February 6th and 12th. Ahead of the series let’s check the IND vs ENG squads.

England Squad for IND vs ENG Series
Jos Buttler will lead both England ODI and T20I sides. Considering that the same ODI squad will also play the ICC Champions Trophy, the three ODIs will be crucial preparations for the Three Lions. While there is no Ben Stokes in either side as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury, Jofra Archer is back. The pacer will be key to England’s plans in the Champions Trophy.
Even though the ODI and T20I squads are identical, there is one change. Rehan Ahmed won’t be part of the ODI side. He will return home after the IND vs ENG T20I series. Joe Root will replace him in the ODI squad.

India Squad for IND vs ENG Series
India Cricket Team are yet to announce the squads. However, Suryakumar Yadav is all set to lead the T20I side while Rohit Sharma will return to lead the ODI side.
The T20I side will include youngsters and IPL performers like Sanju Samson and Yashasvi Jaiswal. There are a few injury concerns but with still two weeks to go for the India vs England series, they are expected to recover by then, Even the bowling department will not have Jasprit Bumrah or Mohammed Siraj. There is a chance that Mohammed Shami could feature if he clears the fitness test.
The big guns like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant will return for the India vs England ODI series.
