The ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup is an international multi-nation event where players within the age of 19 years play from their respective national team. The last edition of the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup was held in the West Indies in 2021-2022. India U19 team emerged as champions of the tournament after defeating the England U19 team by 4 wickets in North Sound.
In the last five editions, South Africa, West Indies, India, Bangladesh and India won in the years 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022. India has five U19 World Cup trophies which is the most by any team in the tournament. India won the trophies in 1999, 2007, 2012, 2018, 2022. The U19 World Cup 2024 will be held in January in South Africa.
