The ACC Under-19 Asia Cup is an international multi-nation event where players under the age of 19 play for their respective national teams. The last edition of the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup was held in the UAE in 2021. The India Under-19 team emerged as champions of the tournament after defeating the Sri Lanka Under-19 team by 9 wickets at Dubai International Stadium.
In the last five editions, only two teams have won the tournament: India and Afghanistan. India won the trophy in 2021, 2019, 2018, and 2016, while Afghanistan won in 2017. India has been the most successful team in the Under-19 Asia Cup, winning the title in 8 out of the 10 editions. The Under-19 Asia Cup 2023 will be held in December in the UAE.
