Tough luck, Hardik Pandya: Shubman Gill-led GT expected to win IPL 2024 trophy predicts AI

Hardik led the Gujarat Titans from 2022 to 2023 and took them to two straight finals. However, last year he decided to join his 'old' franchise, the Mumbai Indians, having left them after the IPL 2021 season.

Going back to the Mumbai Indians may not work that well for Hardik Pandya. The star all-rounder is on the path to missing out on a 6th IPL title. Leaving the Gujarat Titans last year means that it’ll be Shubman Gill who’ll take the IPL 2024 trophy. This will make the team one of the most successful franchises in the league’s 17th-year history.

GT to MI: Unsuccessful for Hardik Pandya

As per a projection by Artificial Intelligence (AI) ChatGPT, the Gujarat Titans will win the title this year and are projected to win their third title a decade later, in 2034. The long title drought between 2024 and 2034 may irk the Gujarat Titans, but with even the Chennai Super Kings failing to win a title for 12 years, the franchise might not be too miffed.

GT fortunes remain the same

Despite Mohammed Shami being unavailable and Hardik Pandya deciding to leave the franchise, the newly formed team will continue winning. The change in leadership will have no impact on performance, and we might see Shubman Gill rise both as a player and a leader.
