ICC Rankings: India Cricket Team occupies top spot in ODIs, Tests and T20Is after sensational 4-1 win in IND vs ENG Test series

The Indian Cricket Team continues to dominate all formats of the game. After thrashing England 4-1 in the IND vs ENG Test series, India have now gone on to claim the top spot in Test rankings. With this India stands on top of the World, as the Men in Blue occupy the number 1 spot in ODIs, T20Is and now in Tests.

Rohit Sharma and Co have been a class apart compared to the rest. Despite losing the ODI World Cup final, India’s form and performances have kept them on top of the rankings. The Men in Blue also dominated Afghanistan 3-0 in the home series to extend their leap in the shortest format of the game.

Not just the ICC Team Rankings, with the stunning win against the Three Lions, India now also tops the charts in the WTC Standings. India now have to win just 5 Test matches in their next 10 games to make it to the WTC Finals in 2025.

However, the number 1 ranking across all three formats of the game will be a big boost for Team India. Devoid of an ICC Trophy since 2013, India have came close on countless occasions. The latest being the Finals of the ODI World Cup 2023. India will be keen to break their ICC Trophy jinx in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
