Contenders for most wickets in IPL 2024

Mohd. Siraj (RCB)

RCB pacer Mohammed Siraj finished with 19 wickets in IPL 2023. The right-arm pacer will be leading the RCB bowling attack in this year’s IPL. Siraj is known for his ability to swing the new ball and has also improved in his death bowling. Siraj will be looking to make an impact in IPL 2024 and help his side claim their first IPL title.

Mitchell Starc (KKR)

Mitchell Starc is making his return to the tournament after 9 long years. He last represented Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2014 and 2015 season. Starc will be joining the KKR camp and be very lethal on a fast-paced Eden Gardens track.

Yuzvendra Chahal (RR)

Leading wicket-taker in IPL, Yuzvendra Chahal is expected to have another good IPL season this year. He finished with 21 wickets to his name in IPL 2023 as he was placed fifth in the most wickets table.

Mohit Sharma (GT)

It was all going well for Mohit Sharma till the last two balls of IPL 2023 when he was hit for consecutive boundaries by Jadeja. Despite losing the final, Mohit finished as the second leading wicket-taker in the competition. He scalped 27 wickets finishing behind his teammate Mohd. Shami.

Jasprit Bumrah (MI)

Jasprit Bumrah will be making his return in IPL 2024. After missing the previous edition, Bumrah will be looking to lead the MI bowling attack in the upcoming edition. His wicket-taking abilities in the death overs makes Bumrah one of the prime contenders for the Purple Cap.
