Tom Hartley used his thinking and cleverness to the fullest. He saw Rohit steeping forward in a bid to play a big shot. He had already hammered a fifty and was keen for more. Harley made proper adjustments to cleverly trick the Indian batter.

Rohit was in desperation to hit a big shot. He wanted to end the innings as soon as possible. Thus he premeditated to lay a big shot. Hartley seeing Rohit dancing down the track, bowled a bit short enforcing a big turn. Rohit unable to adjust saw the ball moving away from him and realises his folly.
