TNT Sports takes everything! Secures exclusive deal for next 3 England tours of India

No English broadcasters were interested in picking up the rights of the India vs England Test series until TNT Sports scooped it up about two days ago.

A couple of weeks ago, no English broadcasters were interested in the India vs England (IND vs ENG) Test series. Despite England being one of the top three sides in Test cricket, it seemed like all the buzz about Bazball was fake. Despite the English media claiming that Ben Stokes and England are saving Test cricket, it seemed like the English broadcasters weren’t too keen about their ‘revolution’.

That changed about two days ago when TNT Sports picked up the rights for the IND vs ENG Test series. Now, the broadcaster has announced it won’t just be taking the rights for the England tour of India in 2024 but for the two upcoming tours after that as well.

TNT Sports will be the official broadcaster for the England tour of India in 2025, which will consist of three ODIs and five T20Is, and the England tour of India in 2028.

The dates for both tours are yet to be decided, but similar to this year, they’ll take place in the first three months of the year (January–February, most likely).

IND vs ENG Test Series: Schedule

  • 1st Test: Hyderabad, 25-29 January
  • 2nd Test: Vizag, 2-6 February
  • 3rd Test: Rajkot, 15-19 February
  • 4th Test: Ranchi, 23-27 February
  • 5th Test: Dharamsala, 7-11 March
