TNPL players who played in IPL
T Natarajan
T Natarajan made his TNPL debut in the inaugural edition of the competition where his performance earned him a call from IPL side Punjab Kings. In 2018, he joined Sunrisers Hyderabad and has been a part of the Orange Army since then.
Sai Sudharsan
The left-handed batter was excellent in IPL 2023 with his stellar performance with the bat up in the order in Gujarat Titans. Sudharsan scored 362 runs at an average of 51.71 this year and played an important role in GT reaching back-to-back IPL finals. Thanks to his antics in TNPL and IPL, he was also named in the Indian squad.
Varun Chakravarthy
Varun Chakravarthy took the IPL by storm in his debut season with KKR in 2020. He is currently an integral part of the two-time IPL winners. Chakravarthy has also represented India internationally in the T20 format.
Vijay Shankar
Vijay Shankar has played several crucial knocks with the bat in both TNPL and IPL. Currently, he is a part of the Gujarat Titans camp in the Indian Premier League.
Washington Sundar
Another TNPL gem who went on to flourish in IPL and then represent India internationally is all-rounder Washington Sundar. He played for Rising Pune Supergiants, Royal Challengers Bangalore and currently plies his trade with Sunrisers Hyderabad.
