TNPL 2023 Playoffs Scenarios: The ongoing edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League has reached its business end. With a win over Siechem Madurai Panthers, the Lyca Kovai Kings have consolidated their position at the top spot. Dindigul Dragons are right behind LKK with 10 points. Nellai Royal Kings are sitting on the third spot with eight points and have one more game to play. However, the real tussle is for the fourth position with Chepauk Super Gillies and SMP both aiming for the spot.

Both CSG and SMP are on 6 points each but the Super Gillies have played all of their matches while the Panthers have one match left. If the Panthers can win their next game and also improve their net run rate in the process, then they will surely hold the top spot. However, the IDream Tirrupur Tamizhans will also not count themselves out as they have four points and if they beat SMP in their next game then they also have a golden chance to qualify for the top four spot. Meanwhile, Salem Spartans and Ba11sy Trichy are all but knocked out of the competition.
As the case in IPL, the top two team qualifying for the playoffs will get an added chance if they lost their first match. The loser of that match will take on the winner of the eliminator match between the third and fourth team. Dragons who have one match left in their kitty will want to win that game to totally secure their spot in the top two with 12 points.
