Batting legend Sunil Gavaskar believes England’s Test squad under skipper Ben Stokes and coach Brendon McCullum play with “no regrets”.
Speaking on air on Day 1 of the IND vs ENG 1st Test in Hyderabad, Gavaskar opined that English players have been given the backing to be aggressive and even if they get out there are no regrets.
“There is no regrets for this team. The players will go after if there is opportunity but even if they get out doing that, they are not going to regret it”, Gavaskar said on air.

Talking about the game, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja have struck with quick wickets after a good start from England openers. Openers Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett added 55 runs before Ashwin dismissed the latter on 35. Jadeja then got rid of Ollie Pope soon after to push the visitors back.
