The Hundred: The much-awaited inaugural edition of ‘The Hundred’ is all-set to kick off on July 23. The month-long 100-ball tournament will witness as many as 8 teams in action Oval Invincibles, Manchester Originals, Northern Superchargers, Birmingham Phoenix, Trent Rockets, Welsh Fire, London Spirit, Southern Brave.

The Hundred Rules

  • Fielding side can change ends after 10 deliveries
  • A bowler can deliver up to 20 balls per match, bowl 5 to 10 consecutive balls based on captain’s decision.
  • Fielding team will get a strategic timeout break of 2.5 minutes.
  • The coaches and enter into the ground and discuss tactics with player mid-match
  • A 25-ball powerplay will be allotted to the batting team.
  • The match will last up to 2.5 hours
