Match 04 – NOS vs WEF Match Preview: Northern Superchargers will lock horns with Welsh Fire in the fourth fixture of The Hundred men’s competition at Headingley, Leeds tonight. This will be the first appearance of both teams in the newly started 100-ball tournament.

Northern Superchargers look perfectly balanced with plenty of big names in their ranks. The Superchargers have Chris Lynn, and Faf du Plessis in their top order and Ben Stokes and David Willey in their all-rounder’s list. The side’s bowling attack also looks promising with Mujeeb ur Rahman, Adil Rashid, and Brydon Carse.

Welsh Fire, meanwhile, has Johnny Bairstow, Tom Banton, and Glenn Philips as their power-hitters. They do seem to be a bit gentle in the bowling attack that has Liam Plunkett as the mainstay. However, they do have Kiwi all-rounder James Neesham who can turn out to be the game-changer for them.

Moreover, it will be interesting to watch how these two teams approach the newest format of the game. The match will start at 10:30 PM IST and will live stream on the FanCode app for Indian audiences.
