The Hundred Draft LIVE – Chris Gayle Hundred Draft: After opting out of the IPL 2022 auction, ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle has enlisted himself for the upcoming draft of The Hundred 2022. The draft of HUNDRED will be conducted on 5th April. Along with Gayle, Babar Azam, David Warner and 284 overseas stars have registered themselves for the draft. Gayle has reserved the highest possible price of £125,000 for himself. Besides Gayle, a plethora of T20 superstars in David Warner, Aaron Finch and Andre Russell are also likely to be in demand.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has also enlisted for the draft with a £125,000 price tag, while Shakib Al Hasan, Quinton de Kock, Nicholas Pooran and Dwayne Bravo are among the other notable players to have registered themselves for the mega event.

A total of 42 places needs to be filled, of which a maximum of 17 can be overseas picks. Since they finished last in the 2021 edition, London Spirit will get the first pick in this year’s draft and it will be interesting to see whether they swoop for Gayle or not.
