Shreyas Iyer has been out of touch in the Cricket World Cup 2023. However, the batter has hit two of the three biggest six hits in the tournament despite being out of form. Iyer, who has made just 133 runs in the six innings prior to the IND vs SL match, has one of the highlights of the tournament by slamming the biggest six of World Cup 2023. Iyer launched Kasun Rajitha for a 106-metre six down the ground, beating his own 101-metre and Glenn Maxwell’s 104-metre six.

Iyer had also held the record for hitting the biggest six in the tournament. However, Maxwell broke Iyer’s record against New Zealand by hitting a 104-metre maximum.
While Iyer may be out of touch, he seemed desperate to hold the record for the biggest six, as he slammed a monster of the six to go past Maxwell.
