MLC 2023: Texas Super Kings (TSK), which is owned by Chennai Super Kings, on Thursday announced the signing of CSK veterans Dwayne Bravo, Devon Conway, Mitchell Santner & Ambati Rayudu for the inaugural season of the Major League Cricket (MLC).
Apart from the CSK stars, the franchise have also added Gujarat Giants’ batter David Miller in the Texas Super Kings’ Squad. Chennai Super Kings’ head coach Stephen Fleming, who currently holds the head coach position for both the Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and SA20, will take the charge for Texas side as well.
Rayudu, who announced his retirement from IPL after a clinching another trophy with Men in Yellow, will embark on his first franchise league outside of India.
Interestingly, Dwayne Bravo, who served as the bowling coach during the Super Kings’ recent IPL triumph, will return to the team as a player for the MLC competition.

Apart from star signings, the Texas franchise also announced the signing of Proteas’ player Gerald Coetzee and Australian all-rounder Daniel Sams for the inaugural edition of the MLC.
Notably, Coetzee is a member of the Super Kings’ Johannesburg franchise in the SA20. Meanwhile, Sams, who didn’t play a single game for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023, will get a chance to play in Super Kings’ color.
The inaugural season of the MLC 2023 is scheduled to take place from July 13 to 30.
