A total of 1574 players have registered for the upcoming IPL 2025 Mega Auction. And out of this lot, there are a total of 15 players who are still in their teenage years. India’s Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest of the lot after having registered to go under the hammer at the age of just 14 years.
A total of 574 players will go under the hammer and this is a huge possibility that some of these teenagers will be roped in by teams that will be keen to bolster their roster.

There happens to be just 3 overseas players who are in the age range of 19 and less, while the other 12 are Indians. And from this special list there is only 1 player who has previously played an edition of the Indian Premier Legaue (IPL).
South Africa’s Kwena Maphaka featured for Mumbai Indians back in 2024. But the young pacer was not retained by the Indians on IPL 2025 Retention Day. He featured in just 2 matches where he managed to scalp a solitary wicket.
