The West Indies Cricket Team head into the T20 World Cup 2024 as co-hosts, carrying the weight of expectation on their shoulders and the dream of a third title. The West Indies became the inaugural team to clinch the T20 World Cup title twice, securing victories in the 2012 edition held in Sri Lanka and the 2016 edition in India. Their triumphs saw them emerge victorious over Sri Lanka by 36 runs in the 2012 final, and they sealed a four-wicket win against England in the 2016 final.

West Indies team will face Papua New Guinea on June 2 in Guyana, followed by a match against Uganda on June 9, also in Guyana. Then, they will play against New Zealand on June 13 in Tarouba, before clashing with Afghanistan on June 18 in Saint Lucia.
