Sunrisers Hyderabad

Ending the IPL 2023 dead last, SRH will look to strengthen their team. Their openers, Harry Brook, Abhishek Sharma, and Mayank Agarwal, failed. None of their three openers crossed the 300-run mark despite playing more than 10 games each. With Harry Brook gone and 13.25 in their purse, SRH will be looking to go after the aggressive Aussie opener.

Kolkata Knight Riders

The 7th spot is where KKR finished last season. A big part of this was their depleted lineup without Shreyas Iyer. While their designated opener, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, did not have a great season, his form in the 2023 World Cup was great. With Litton Das released and Jason Roy not even making England’s squad for the ODI World Cup, KKR will aim for Travis Head with 32.70 crore in their purse.

Gujarat Titans

With their skipper and star all-rounder Hardik Pandya gone, GT is in a spot of bother. To bolster their lineup, the Titans will look to move past Wriddhiman Saha and aim for Travis Head as their No. 2 choice opener. The southpaw has already shown that he can bat in Ahmedabad. With a requirement of firepower and 38.15 crore in their bank, the Aussie opener will be the Gujarat Titans’ go-to man at the IPL 2024 auction.
