Teams that have qualified for Champions Trophy 2025 semifinals so far

With the Champions Trophy being the only talk of the town, take a look at all the teams that have qualified for the Champions Trophy 2025 semifinals so far.

Things are now as clear as a clean mirror, as after quite a few games, we have three Champions Trophy semifinalists confirmed out of four. India, New Zealand, and Australia are the three teams set to showcase their game in the Champions Trophy 2025 semifinals.

So far, several shocks have come. We saw how Pakistan and England got eliminated despite being expected to do well, especially Pakistan, who were the hosts. However, everything went downhill for them.

But surely, all the teams that have entered the semifinals have clearly shown their brilliance in the group stage. In a tournament where losing even one match can cause trouble, these teams did not lose their game at any point and, as a result, are now set for the big semis.

Speaking about the teams that have qualified for the semifinals, all three teams so far have shown consistency. India, despite having one more game left, has already secured a semifinal spot by displaying brilliance, first against Bangladesh and then against Pakistan. The same goes for New Zealand, who first thumped the hosts, Pakistan, and then defeated Bangladesh.

Speaking about Australia, as mentioned earlier, they secured their semifinal berth after their match against Afghanistan was washed out. Due to a higher run rate and points, they are currently on top. However, if South Africa wins today, they will finish on top of Group B with five points.

It will be highly interesting to see how things comes, but India, New Zealand, and Australia are three out of the four semifinalists. However, South Africa’s qualification is not yet confirmed, though things are mostly in their favour. They currently sit second in Group B with a better run rate than Afghanistan, who also have three points. If the Proteas lose, they must ensure their net run rate is not affected significantly, while Afghanistan will be hoping for a miracle.
