A member of the Team India support staff was injured during training on Sunday amid the IND vs AUS 3rd Test in Brisbane. Nuwan Seneviratne, a throwdown specialist, suffered a blow to his head while training with the players. Rohit Sharma and co. had a rather unforgiving day on Day 2 of the contest at the Gabba, with Australia going on to dominate majority of the proceedings.

As per News18, Nuwan Seneviratne’s condition is being closely monitored by the BCCI. The board is also making sure that he gets the best medical care. The throwdown specialist has been an integral part of the Indian setup since 2018. Members of the Indian team wished the support staff member a speedy recovery.
