All eyes on Shubman Gill

While Suryakumar Yadav might be the captain, but the primary focus will be on young Shubman Gill. The youngster was recently promoted as the vice captain of India in both ODIs and T20Is. It is clear indicative of the fact that Team India are hugely banking on the youngster to become the poster boy of India.

Meanwhile, under the guidance of Gautam Gambhir, for the very first time, Team India will hit the ground running. As per reports, the Men in Blue are slated to have a 3 hour practice session. Apart from facing pacers, the batsmen will be eager to face the spinners as well.

Sri Lanka is notoriously famous for its typical subcontinental slow tracks that favours spin bowling. Thus the top order as well as the hard hitters will be eager to hit the nets as early as possible.
