Dravid eyeing T20 World Cup

Before being team India head coach, Rahul Dravid had success with the Indian U-19 and India A teams. Under his mentorship, India finished runners-up in the 2016 U-19 Cricket World Cup, and later clinched the 2018 U-19 Cricket World Cup.

After being appointed as team India coach, Rahul Dravid started his tenure in an emphatic fashion as the Men in Blue thrashed New Zealand 3-0 in a three-match T20I series. Overall, Dravid has won more than 16 bilateral series defeating several heavyweights including England, South Africa and Australia.

However, Dravid has failed to deliver in the ICC tournaments. India has lost in 2022 T20 WC, World Test Championship 2023 and 2023 World Cup. The Indian veteran has another chance to get the prestigious ICC trophy in the ongoing 2024 T20 World Cup.
