Team India call up Aniket Choudhary to gear up for Mitch Starc Challenge ahead of IND vs AUS WTC Final

Team India is set to take on Australia in the final match of the WTC Final 2023. The clash will start from June 7 onwards.

Team India is set to take on Australia in the final clash of the WTC Final 2023. The match will start from June 7 onwards. Ahead of the match, the Indian camp has called up left-arm pacer Aniket Choudhary to gear up for Mitchell Starc bowling in the anticipated clash. To note, Choudhary has already represented RCB in the IPL and has performed decently in the domestic circuit as well.

Choudhary has reached London to bowl in the nets as team India tries to cope up Starc’s challenge. To note, Starc has some decent numbers against India in the longest format of the game. The left-arm seamer has played 17 matches and scalped 44 wickets which is his third highest in terms of wicket scalped per country. The senior pacer also had some success during the last ODI series played between India and Australia.

Speaking aboyt Choudhary, playing for Rajasthan, the tall pacer has done well in the domestic arena. He came to limelight after he was bagged for INR 2 Crore for IPL 2017. To note, the tall seamer was bowling to the Indian batters before a Test series against the New Zealand.

Choudhary managed to impress the former RCB skipper Virat Kohli as RCB bagged him up one week later in the auction. However, he only managed to played just 5 IPL matches scalping 5 wickets and bowling at an economy rate of 8.55. He played his last IPL game against KKR in 2017.
