Taliban in Afghanistan: Rashid Khan begins crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for countrymen in crisis: The people of Afghanistan are having a really tough time to even seek shelter in their own country after the Talibans have established complete control over Afghanistan. In such a situation, the famous Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan has begun crowdfunding to raise money and help his countrymen.

In his latest Instagram story, Rashid Khan posted an image with a swipe up link and appealed to the fans to offer monetary help for his country. The story captioned, “We nearly there. Your everyone single contribution counts and can make someone life’s easier.”

Afghan Cricket Association joins hands with Rashid Khan’s Foundation to help people

In light of the country’s current situation, ACA (Afghan Cricket Association) in collaboration with Rashid Khan Foundation have launched this fundraiser to reach out to those displaced internally by providing food parcels and other basic necessities.

The crowdfunding attempt is an emergency appeal to aid the people in Afghanistan due to the ongoing war. The aim is to raise £20,000 in order to help the humanitarian crisis in the Afghan country.

Till now, the welfare foundation has been able to accomplish 50% of its set goal and has raised £10,030 as donations from the people.
